(To the Bone, 2017) is the new of director and scriptwriter Marti Noxon, and although it has the great performance of Lily Collins, the film highlights the direction of photography by Richard Wong.

The film tells the story of Ellen, (Lily Collins), a girl who suffers of eating disorders, specifically anorexia. In the drama will see the inner fight of the protagonist with her illness, but she won't to be alone, Dr. William Beckham, (Keanu Reeves), and her friend Luka, (Alex Sharp), help her in the battle.

The good work of Wong stands out in several scenes of the film, like the visit of the patients to a museum, where the game of lights was fantastic. In the movie are used natural and artificial light. Good framing also made a presence in this project.

On the other hand, the performance of Collins was perfect and is that like her character Ellen, she confessed that in the past suffered eating disorders. Even her appearance gave that to speak, since the director Noxon explained that worked under the supervision of a nutritionist, so that help the protagonist lose a few pounds.

The film shows that it is often necessary to touch the background to return. And it certainly leaves an open end to a new movie.
